About Lala Panzi

Garden view showing solar panels

Michele’s German engineering resulted in an energy conserving design, minimising the CO2 footprint wherever possible. She used high insulation windows, extra insulation in roofs and walls, heat pumps in combination with solar heating for domestic hot water generation and rain water harvesting to water the own herb garden. This eco-friendly design gives a cosy, warm feeling during the cold season and keeps the heat out during the hot season.

The generously sized suites are located on the executive floor, are furnished with top quality king size XL beds (1,80m x 2,0m) and luxury bathrooms. They will pamper our guests during their stay.

The large flatlet is located on the ground floor and comprises of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a top quality double bed (1,4 m x 1,87m ) and a bathroom with a walk in shower. The flatlet also offers enough space to add an extra full size (0,90 m x 1,90 m),roll-in single bed (at additional costs).

Lala Panzi with generous sun terrace

The setting is architectonically augmented with very large sun terraces to make the best use of the unimpeded view. The use of glass and stainless steel for the terrace is contrasted by the use of solid, indigenous woods for the communal areas and in the thatched Boma as well as in the spacious guest suites.

Solar heated salt water pool at night.

All rooms and the flatlet have access to a large, solar heated salt water pool, the thatched Boma with BYO bar and a communal entertainment area with dart board and a sun deck with sun loungers.

Pool with area for braai.

Lala Panzi provides gas and charcoal barbecues (braais). Guests are welcome to bring their own food to braai (barbecue) or have parties (on appointment).
